Tim is researching the role of neurocognition in psychiatric disorder and its treatment. His aim is to elucidate the cognitive neuropsychological mechanisms underlying mood disorders and treatment response, which will form the foundation of new methods for early prediction of treatment response.

Currently, Tim is undertaking projects to better understand the intersection between neurobiology and cognition, as well as to trial optimised clinical protocols for treatment in real-world practice.
